About us

From GLGI

We are a group of people from the southeast Michigan area who are supporting the building of the Kensington Children's Cottage in a variety of ways, but primarily through a reporting on the progress of the build. We'll also do a bit of in-depth reporting to educate you about natural building.

The coordination of the reporting is being handled by Tom & Peggy Brennan and Martha Peterson from the Great Lakes Green Initiative.

Caitlin is heading up the students from Mercy High School.

Cara and Lisa, from Michigan State University's journalism school, are mentoring the high school students.
